Aid to Infrastructure's Medical Clinic

"...even to your old age I am he, even when you turn gray I will carry you. I have made, and I will bear, I will carry and will save." — Isaiah 46:4

Led by Dr. Tom Tigar, Aid to Infrastructure began conducting regular medical clinics in the village of Piton, Haiti, in 2014. These clinics were held inside the school building, which meant classes were disrupted. By 2017, we'd renovated a building on school property to give our clinic a permanent home. This made it much easier to store medications and supplies securely and gave us more room and flexibility. It also allowed us to conduct a clinic with minimal disruption of school activities.

We hired our first nurse in 2017 to visit the village at least once a week. In 2023, we hired another nurse; both visit the clinic three times a week. Legina joined our team in 2019, and Nadine joined in 2023.

They are in the school clinic for children and adults. They also work with Samuel out in the community for personal hygiene education and household sanitation support.

Your support helps us pay them a salary and provide basic medications and supplies to the clinic.
